Clinical Director, Berry Street
Marjorie joined Berry Street in January of 2023 as Founding Clinical Director to grow the vision of providing virtual in-network nutritional counseling to more people across the US. She is a passionate leader in eating disorders treatment and uses this to inform her work providing Medical Nutrition Therapy to a wider population. Marjorie spent eight years working in higher levels of care at both The Renfrew Center and Monte Nido and played a valuable role in building and creating the clinical programming for The Renfrew Center’s first Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in 2005.
After years of work in the eating disorders field, Marjorie began a media-focused career in New York City. As a spokesperson for The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Marjorie appeared on most major TV networks and has written for or been quoted in publications and websites such as Glamour, The New York Times, and US News & World Report. During this time Marjorie authored two books; Overcoming Binge Eating For Dummies and Taming Ghrelin, The Hunger Hormone for a Quick, Healthy Weight Loss.
Marjorie has shifted her work from client care to supporting other nutrition professionals in building their private practice, advancing the practice of Registered Dietitians, and Healthcare advocacy.
Marjorie holds a Masters Degree in Food and Nutrition Science from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania where was recognized with an award for being an outstanding alumni.
